Interview Process Preparations Part #1

Passed the technical interview? Great.
Now how will you stand out among the other candidates?

Candidates who reached the same point as you have:
☑️ A good and matching the job description experience
☑️ A solid CV and LinkedIn profile
☑️ Strong technical skills

Now what makes you different? 🤔
Think about it: Why do you want this job?

Whenever I ask this question, I hear the following answers:
➡️ “Because I want a job!” (yes, who doesn't ?!)
➡️ “Because I have the most experience!” (great, but so do others)
➡️ “Because your company has a great reputation!” (nice, but overused and too generic)

Let me give you my advice on this: You need to show your REAL interest in the company.

Check the company's website.
Scroll through their social media.
Read recent news about them.

Bonus Tip:
Find information about the person who is doing the next interview with you.
You will discover lots of questions you can ask that shows your uniqueness compared to other candidates.

Look for something that excites you. Then mention it.

Examples:
✅ “I read about your [recent project/event]. Can you share more about it?”
✅ “I saw photos of your office’s third floor view. Looks amazing ! hope I can see it in person someday.”

Small details like this show you care.
They tell the recruiter/hiring manager that you've done my homework. You want this job and this company.

When to use it?
Whenever you get asked:
“Why do you want to join us?”
“Any questions for me?”

Don’t improvise on the spot. Prepare.
